Garden Tools
Garden tools; I use mine all the time. If you do to, I have some
tips to keep yours in tip, top shape.
1. Don't pile tools in the garage or shed, first off,
they could fall and hurt someone, plus it will damage them too.
2. Hang all tools so that their sharp edges are secure so
no one gets caught on them.
3. Make sure that you clean excess mud and dirt off your
tools after each use. Don't be tempted to scrape the mud off of
one tool with another tool or you'll end up dulling them both.
Instead keep a sturdy brush by the door of your garage or shed,
brush the dirt off and put the tools away.
4. If you're storing them for an extended period of time
spritz a little penetrating oil or cooking spray on them to
prevent rusting.
5. Always check your tools for damage after you use them.
Use a sanding sponge to smooth burrs on wooden handles. Tighten
or replace loose screws and nuts, and sharpen blades when they
get dull.
6. Small cutting tools like pruning shears can be
sharpened by cutting through a piece of fine sandpaper several
times. For tools with larger blades, secure the open blade in a
vice and push a file across the factory bevel working one way in
the direction of the bevel.

Landscape Edging for Walkways
– Keeping the Grass Away
Sometimes it seems like grass will only grow where you don't
want it to grow, like on sidewalks and walkways. Landscape

keeping the grass from invading landscaped areas and adding to
the overall landscaping theme. There are many types of
landscape edging styles to choose among.
