Change Toilet
Hardware
Changing the hardware on your toilet is an easy and relatively
inexpensive way to change the look of your bathroom.
1. Be careful! If you drop a tool or over tighten a nut,
you could crack the porcelain on your toilet.
2. Turn off the water supply to the toilet. Then flush
the toilet to drain the tank.
3. To change the flush lever, remove the nut on the
inside of the tank and carefully remove the old lever. Depending
on the kind of toilet you have, you may have to remove the
entire lift arm with the lever. Then simply slide the new one
into place and tighten the nut.

Whirlpool Tub Plumbing Tips
Before you begin, consider your skills as a carpenter and
plumber. If you are the average weekend home repair mogul, you
may want to sit this project out. You will need a lot of
skills with big, powerful tools like soldering tools and a
mini tubing cutter. Also, you will need to understand the
basics of plumbing and carpentry. If you aren't completely
comfortable with using tools like this, you should definitely
consult a construction professional or a professional plumber.
