Clean it-up "around the house"

Basic Cleaning Kit

Any stain or spill can be tackled, any cleaning dilemma overcome with a basic cleaning kit, here's what you need.

1. The tools: a bucket, sponges, a scouring pad with a handle which will give you more power. A broom, sponge mop and dustmop, remember, quality tools give better results, hands down.

2. Buy cloth diapers, for $10.00-$15.00 for a package of twelve, you get cleaning cloths that are soft so they won't damage surfaces, white so they won't transfer dyes and they wash wonderfully, so they last for years.

3. The Cleaners: Powdered dish detergent. this little wonder cleans dishes, but will also cut through stains in your sink and tub and scour away soot from brick. White shaving cream is an indispensible spot treater, use it on carpets, upholstery, clothing and linens. White toothpaste will gently scour away stains on painted walls and woodwork, white rings on wood furniture and shine your silver. Rubbing alcohol. it not only disinfects household surfaces, but it leaves a streak free shine on chrome, mirrors and windows!
